Hanna Roewer, MSN, FNP-BC.
CEO, FOUNDER AND
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Hanna attended Far Eastern University in the Philippines, graduating with honors and receiving her bachelor’s in nursing. Immediately after graduation, she moved to Chicago and practiced as a registered nurse (RN) from 2008 to 2015 in various hospital settings, which included Medical-Surgical floors, Cardiac Step-down, Post-Anesthetic Care (PACU), and Float-Pool (while attending graduate school).

In 2015, Hanna received her Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioning and graduated Sigma Theta Tau from North Park University in Chicago.

In 2016, Hanna and her family moved to beautiful Central California. For a few years, she was a Family Nurse Practitioner at Mee Memorial Family Practice Clinic in King City and later at Community Health Centers of the Central Coast (CHC) in Atascadero.

No matter what setting I’m working in, my main emphasis is always concentrated around health promotion and disease prevention through patient education and coordination of care, whenever possible.

– Hanna Roewer, MSN, FNP-BC.

In 2022, Hanna founded IV Hydration and Beyond to address the gap in accessible, non-emergent medical treatments. At the time, she recognized that many of the patients she oversaw, while in her primary care setting, needed more advanced care than what over-the-counter pharmacies could provide. Recognizing that her patients didn’t require hospital-level interventions, she created a space where she could provide individualized services revolving around comprehensive wellness.

As an Advanced Practice Nurse, Hanna aims to provide high-quality patient care by providing quality services. As a result, Hanna is committed to regularly attending educational conferences and collaborating with providers in the community to ensure the services she provides to her clients are safe and appropriate for their care. In addition, she regularly collaborates with people around the country who are considered the best in their field of specialty to ensure that she is providing the best quality of care for the people she cares for.

Over the past year, Hanna has expanded her services to include aesthetic treatments and medically supervised weight loss programs. Ultimately, Hanna’s goal is to help as many people as she can to achieve their health, wellness, and aesthetic goals.

For most of Doug’s nursing career, his concentration has been in Gastroenterology (a/k/a GI). For approximately eight years, Doug was a nurse in one of the most respected GI programs in the northern suburbs of the Chicagoland area, with expertise in assisting with general GI procedures, advanced therapeutic GI procedures, and education.

In 2016, Doug was asked to move from Chicago to Central California to oversee the advancement of the Advanced Therapeutic GI Program at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center (Adventist Health Sierra Vista) in San Luis Obispo which included Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA), as well as other non-invasive/ minimally invasive therapeutic procedures. His role at the hospital included bringing new GI services to the community, keeping track of quality metrics, and overseeing continuous education and training for his nursing staff. In June 2024, Doug left his management position at Sierra Vista to spend more time with his family and support Hanna at IV Hydration and Beyond.

To this day, I find San Luis Obispo County to be one of the most beautiful places in the world, with some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.  I think it is wonderful that Hanna provides high-quality services for her patients, and it’s my pleasure to support her in whatever way I can.
